The Arista 7000 Family is a portfolio of high performance, low latency, layer 2/3/4, 1/10 and 40 Gigabit Ethernet data center switches. Offered in 24 to 64-port "xed models and 4 and 8-slot modular chassis, the Arista 7000 Family of switches feature the industry's highest density 10 Gigabit Ethernet switching solution and a breakthrough extensible modular network operating system. With best-of-breed technology, the Arista 7000 Family enables 10 Gigabit Ethernet to be deployed everywhere in the data center, which can signi"cantly improve server utilization and consequently data center power efficiency.

All Arista 7000 Family switches run the same binary software version of Arista EOS, simplifying network administration. With Arista EOS, advanced monitoring and automation capabilities such as Zero Touch Provisioning, VMTracer, CloudVision, LANZ and Linux based tools can be run natively on the switches. Multi- Chassis Link Aggregation (MLAG) is a powerful feature that allows two Arista switches to act as one logical switch in an active/active manner to eliminate bottlenecks and provide resiliency.
