ACX7100
The ACX7100 Series Universal Metro Routers are high-capacity, high-density, low-latency routers that provide up to 4.8 Tbps of throughput and 10GE to 400GE services in 1U. Ideal for metro and data center applications.



ACX5000
The ACX5000 1U and 2U routers are high-performance, high-port-density, metro aggregation solutions ideal for metro Ethernet access and aggregation deployments in Carrier Ethernet networks.

ACX2100
The ACX2100 is a hardened router with 16 T1/E1 interfaces, four copper 10/100/1000-Mbps interfaces, four combination copper/fiber GbE ports, two GbE SFP ports, and two 10GbE SFP+ ports.
ACX6000
The ACX6000 1U routers offer a dense solution for converging IP and optical transport. They provide Open ROADM-compliant transponder functionality for metro, cloud connect, and distributed access architecture (DAA)/R-PHY deployments.

ACX4000
The ACX4000 is a 2.5U hardened router with two modular interface card slots that can house 16 T1/E1 ports, six GbE copper/fiber combination ports, or four CHOC3/STM-1 ports. Versatile for any deployment.

ACX1100
The ACX1100 is a 1U fanless router with eight copper GbE ports and four copper/fiber GbE ports. It is ideal for enterprise and service provider cabinet and tower deployments.
ACX5400
The ACX5400 Series of 1U routers provide power-efficient metro aggregation and support full IP/MPLS functionality. They deliver the performance required for efficient 1/10GbE-to-100GbE metro aggregation, MACsec security, and packet-optical convergence.

ACX2200
The ACX2200 is a 1U hardened router with four copper 10/100/1000-Mbps interfaces, four copper/fiber GbE ports, two GbE SFP ports, and two 10GbE SFP+ ports. It is ideal for IP-RAN deployments.


ACX1000
The ACX1000 is a 1U fanless router with eight T1/E1 interfaces, eight copper GbE ports, and four copper/fiber GbE ports. It is ideal for enterprise and service provider cabinet and tower deployments.

ACX710
The ACX710 1U router is a hardened multiservice solution that delivers the performance, capacity, and features needed to provide universal metro access and aggregation services. It offers a high-density, cost-optimized metro solution in a compact footprint.


ACX500
The ACX500 is a family of small-form-factor, hardened, fanless routers with integrated GPS receiver and security features. Available in indoor and outdoor models, they are ideal for small-cell LTE-Advanced mobile backhaul deployments, utilities, and railways.

Legacy Routers & Interface


Juniper Networks legacy products include the entire line of Juniper EX series J and MX series, as well as ACX, BX, CTP, ISG, NSM, MX, QFX, SRX / IDP, SSG, STRM, TCA, VXA, WLC, WX, WLM, Infranet series, NetScreen and SecureAccess, as well as legacy Neoteris and Global Pro.

Additional Juniper legacy options include Interface Options, also called Line Cards, which allow for customization of chassis-based router port configurations. The MX Series Universal Edge Routers support different types of interface options, including the following below.

 
Dense Port Concentrators (DPCs):
A DPC provides multiple physical interfaces and Packet Forwarding Engines on a single board that installs into a slot within the MX240, MX480, and MX960 routers.

Modular Interface Cards (MICs):
MICs install into Modular Port Concentrators (MPCs)—MICs provide physical interfaces for the router, and install into the MPCs, which provide packet forwarding services. MPCs are inserted into a slot in an MX240, MX480, MX960, MX2010, or MX2020 router. On MX5, MX10, MX40, MX80, and MX104 routers, MICs install directly into the router chassis. There are also fixed-configuration MPCs, with built-in network ports or services functionality, which do not accept MICs.

Physical Interface Cards (PICs):
PICs install into Flexible PIC Concentrators (FPCs)—PICs and FPCs function similarly to MICs and MPCs. PICs provide physical interfaces for the router, and install into the FPCs, which provide packet forwarding services. FPCs are installed into a slot in an MX240, MX480, or MX960 router.
